I want to create art that brings forth life and beauty, enriching the lives of all with whom it is shared.

I consider my primary artistic influences to be the Post Impressionists.  Rather than describe things, I want my art to make a true expression of my passions. My paintings themselves are my subjects. I work in a variety of media. My style varies from intricate brushwork and fine detail to what I call "Touch Paintings", works created by applying the paint directly with my fingertips.

I was born in Welch, West Virginia. Growing up amid lush mountain foliage imbued me with love for the bright colors of the flowers of spring and the leaves of autumn and the harmony and balance of the rushing mountain streams  of summer and the snow laden trees of winter.  These are the elements I want to be foremost in my art. I have studied at West Virginia University, Marshall University and the Crealde School of Art in Winter Park, Florida.  I also have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Music Education and perform regularly with a professional opera chorus. I am a member of Mensa. I have exhibited my art through Dragonfly Studios in Sandy, Utah, and at the Mountain State Art and Craft Fair in Charleston, West Virginia, where I won First Place in Mixed Media. My art has been displayed in St. Augustine, Florida by the Crystal Clear Gallery and the Gallery at the Quality Inn Historic District, in Orlando, Florida by the Inspirational Living Fine Art Gallery, the Gallery at Metro, the Keine/Quigley Gallery, the Creative Spirit Art Gallery, the Gallery at Avalon Island, in Altamonte Springs, Florida at the Steinway Gallery, and in Las Vegas, Nevada at Studio 8Ten and through Contemporary Art of Las Vegas.  My art is now displayed at the Office of the Puerto Rican Government and the Casa de Mexico.
